Meet Our Design Team
Lisa Ford, Owner/Interior Designer
DRIVEN | STYLISH | RESOURCEFUL
Lisa is a designer inspired by the world around her with trends, travel, and fashion all coming to play in her style. She offers a one-of-a-kind design experience to our clients — one that is always on point. With her outgoing, approachable nature, she is able to quickly cultivate trust and comfort with our clients, contractors, and vendors.
As a graduate of South Dakota State University, Lisa gained an intimate familiarity with residential design and an extensive understanding of construction. Being well-versed in this side of interior design, she’s better-prepared to look at a project as a whole from conceptual design to execution of construction. This makes for a smooth, beautiful project through and through.
Here at LOI Design Group, she is known for thinking outside the box and pushing boundaries. We can always count on Lisa and her creative problem solving skills to come up with a solution that leaves everyone happy, satisfied, and wondering why they didn’t think of it first!
With her modern style, she emphasizes clean lines, thoughtful color choices, and an overall air of refinement. But don’t let that refinement fool you — she uses those facets to push boundaries in her designs, creating unforgettable spaces that authentically represent our clients.
When she’s not solving design problems or creating functional spaces, you can likely find her outdoors. She and her husband grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and love to spend their time there, boating, riding ATVs, skiing, and hiking. Their love of travel and adventure will always be a priority as they raise their family to do the same.
Nicolette Cox, Interior Designer
DETAILED | AMBITIOUS | GENUINE
Finding beauty in her surroundings and cultivating a spirit of creative adventure are qualities that have defined Nicolette for most of her life. Introduced by her grandfather, a seasoned architect, to the world of residential construction and design at a young age, her world has been immersed in design inspiration for as long as she can remember. Getting her degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln launched her dreams into reality.
For Nicolette, the delight is in the details. With each new client, she takes the project to heart from the large scale layout decisions to the tiniest of design flourishes. For each stage of the design process Nicolette is there to analyze every aspect of the project ensuring that it is executed to perfection. When working with her you can rest easy knowing that she’s approaching your design project with as much care and guidance as she would put toward her own.
With Nicolette’s meticulous project execution and her warm, open approach to clients, a design experience with her at LOI is sure to leave you thrilled with your space. With a clean, modern aesthetic the spaces she designs are rich in simple textures, and centered specifically around the client’s needs and dreams.
Traveling to new places and exploring nature with family and friends are ways that Nicolette finds happiness, as well as continuing her longtime love of dance, which taught her early on the importance of discipline and attention to specifics.
